Commission is charged per card on the final sale price: 5% on cards selling for $3,000+, 10% on $1,000–$2,999, and 12% on $250–$999. Minimum $250 per card.
1. Consignment & Custody
The Consignor delivers the cards listed in the inventory above to ERA Cards for the purpose of sale. ERA Cards takes physical custody of the items and stores them in protective holders in a secure, climate-appropriate environment. Title to the items remains with the Consignor until a sale is completed.
2. Minimum Consignment Period
All consigned cards must remain with ERA Cards for a minimum of 30 days from the date of receipt. This gives us time to photograph, price, present the cards to our buyer network, and work them across upcoming shows and sales channels. Early withdrawal before the 30-day period is not permitted except at ERA Cards' discretion.
3. Commission Rates
Commission is calculated per card on the final sale price: 5% on cards selling for $3,000+, 10% on $1,000–$2,999, and 12% on $250–$999. ERA Cards accepts consignment items with an expected value of $250 or more per card.
4. Pricing & Approval
Asking prices are agreed between ERA Cards and the Consignor before an item is listed or displayed. ERA Cards may accept reasonable offers within a range approved by the Consignor. Any sale materially below the approved range requires the Consignor's confirmation.
5. Sales Channels
Items may be offered at card shows ERA Cards attends, through its buyer network, and through online marketplaces at ERA Cards' discretion, unless the Consignor restricts a channel in writing.
6. Payout
The Consignor is paid the sale price less the applicable commission and any pre-agreed fees (for example grading or shipping costs advanced by ERA Cards). Payouts are issued within 14 business days of funds clearing, via the payout method selected above.
7. Term & Withdrawal
This agreement runs for 90 days and renews by mutual agreement. After the 30-day minimum period, the Consignor may withdraw unsold items with 7 days' written notice; items already under offer or in transit to a show will be returned after that event concludes.
8. Loss, Damage & Insurance
ERA Cards handles all consigned items with reasonable professional care and maintains coverage appropriate to the value of inventory in its custody. ERA Cards is not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including carrier loss where the Consignor selected the shipping method.
9. Authenticity & Ownership
The Consignor represents that they are the lawful owner of the items listed, that the items are free of liens or claims, and that to the best of their knowledge the items are authentic and unaltered. Items found to be counterfeit or altered will be returned and removed from sale.
10. Records & Communication
The Consignor receives a reference number for the lot and may request an inventory status update at any time. ERA Cards will provide a sale summary for each item sold.
11. Electronic Signature
By typing their full legal name below and submitting this form, the Consignor agrees these terms are accepted and that their electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. The date, time and device information of the signature are recorded with this agreement.
